This meme is going around Facebook... So i figured i'd post it here too... since i took the time to write it... 25 random things that you might not know about ME!
1. Even though I’m very extroverted, I am extremely misanthropic.
2. I soak in the bathtub every night and read. Its one of the few things that truly relax me.
3. I almost died once going down I-80 in Nebraska during an ice storm. The Jeep Wrangler that was driving skidded sideways and by some random luck spun off the side of the road as opposed to rolling.
4. I find places to put cell towers, and cell antennas for a living. People think I choose the location and better their service when I tell them. If I could do that… I’d be making SOO much more money!
5. I love heavy metal - doom-core, hair metal, thrash metal, noise-core, power violence, black metal, grind-core, metal-core, hardcore. But I really don’t like progressive metal, or nu metal…. for whats it worth.
6. I am SO cluttered and disorganized and no matter how hard that I try… it’s a forever losing battle.
7. With my southern roots… I love all the weird southern “country cooking” – oyster stew, chicken gizzards, salmon patties, hog-head hash, turtle stew, chitterlings with hot sauce…
8. I have a dream of touring Asia. I LOVE all that is Asian… the culture… the food.
9. While playing on a go kart when I was a kid, I was almost ran over by a dump truck.
10. I hate being alone… being single, living alone, shopping alone, traveling alone, etc.
11. I have this crazy love/hate thing with Atlanta. Right now… I am missing it SOO bad.
12. I came out to my mother when I was 15, and the rest of my family when I was 18. Being from the South… It was no picnic. But I am very glad that I did.
13. One of my biggest regrets in life, is not trying harder with my ex, Randall.
14. I can eat SOME form of Asian cuisine for EVERY meal – and a lot of times… I do.
15. Being half way across the country from my family sucks sometimes – I miss them a lot
more than I allow myself to admit.
16. I really miss Rugby. I just helped the team but I got SOO close to so many of the guys on the Bucks… It was really hard to let that go.
17. Most of the time, I hate the gay scene in Minneapolis. People are so fucking passive-aggressive. I miss the bitchy, straight-forwardness of Atlanta.
18. I want to drive from Coast to Coast – I am actually considering it for my birthday.
19. Ducks, raccoons, and cows are my three favorite animals.
20. My two favorite bands are the Cure and the Smiths.
21. I always have thoughts of collecting random things, and always think better of it when I remember how completely disorganized I am.
22. I have two tattoos, and I want bunches more.
23. With the exception of my hometown - I have lived in Atlanta (off and on four times), Timberlake NC, Raleigh NC, Jacksonville FL, Valdosta GA, and now Minneapolis MN.
24. I have a terrifying phobia of live fish – I am not sure what they are going to me, but whenever I get close to one – my fight or flight kicks in and I usually I just run.
25. I have absolutely no confidence in myself – its one of the biggest things that I’m trying to work on… |
